Give reasons why
1. White phoshorous glow in dark
2. Black phosphorous do not oxidise in air

White phosphorous undergoes slow oxidation in air, and this chemical reaction results in to a greenish glow which is visible in the dark. This is due to a phenomenon called as Chemiluminescence​.

Black phosphorus is the most stable form.it has layered structure and is highly polymerised.
