Color blindness is more common in men than in women.

Color Blindness:

  1. Color blindness is an X-linked condition, it is more common in men than in women.
  2. Men have only one X chromosome, thus if that X chromosome contains a color blindness-causing gene, they will be color blind.
  3. Because women have two X chromosomes, if one carries the color blindness gene but the other is normal, the women will not develop color blindness.
  4. Despite the fact that they are carriers of the condition, they have normal vision.

Thus, Color blindness is more common in men than in women.
