Give suitable chemical terms for the following:

The process in which a substance absorbs moisture from the atmospheric air to become moist, and ultimately dissolves in the absorbed water.

Water-soluble salts on exposure to the atmosphere absorb moisture from the atmosphere and dissolve in it. This phenomenon is called deliquescence.

Whereas if the salt on the exposure to the atmosphere loses the water of crystallisation they the phenomenon is called efflorescence.
