Solution
Colour blindness is a genetic defect, meaning a mutation in the gene responsible to produce a functional pigment of cone cells causes it. Until now no scientific method is available for providing these molecules as supplements to maintain a constant level in cone cells of the retina. Hence we can conclude that colour blindness is incurable as of now, but perhaps in the future gene therapy will provide a solution to remedy this genetic problem.
