The biological term for an eye defect in which old people are unable to see the nearby object is called presbyopia. The technical term is called Age-related farsightedness.

An eye defect for an aged person:

  1. Presbyopia is essential for a stage of life connected to eyesight disorder.
  2. This disorder produces trouble for us to see nearby objects.
  3. Presbyopia causes incapacitation of ciliary muscles and decreases the suppleness of the eye lens.
  4. Convex lenses (Hypermetropia) are used to correct the bottom part of the eye lens.
  5. Concave lenses (Myopia) are used to correct the top part of the eye lens.
