Solution

Astigmatism:

Astigmatism is the biological term for an eye defect in which the cornea becomes uneven. The technical term is called Astigmatic.

Astigmatism eye defect:

  1. Astigmatism becomes apparent due to the rough convexity of the cornea or lens. Thus, the disorder is rectified by a cylindrical lens.
  2. Astigmatism occurs due to the foremost part of the eye (cornea) being incompatible curves. So, it is not an eye disease or health issue.
  3. Astigmatism may cause headaches, and eye distension occurs due to continuous reading. This shows the unclear image of the faraway thing.
