  1. Scrotum is a sac of skin enclosing the testes which is present behind the penis.
  2. Development of the testes takes place in the abdominal cavity but it descends into the scrotum before the birth of a child because the temperature in the scrotum sac is 2-3*C lower than the body temperature.
  3. Scrotal skin contracts in winter and get loosened in summer.
