Nitric acid (HNO₃) is a acid which can dissociate as follow
HNO₃ = H⁺ +NO₃-
Where only on hydrogen ion is present.
Basicity is the number of hydrogen ion present in the acid.Here only one hydrogen ion is present so its basicity is one i.e. monobasic in nature.
