Solution

The correct option is D TTT
Sulphide ions react with sodium nitroprusside to form a purple coloured complex.

Reaction:
Na2S+Na2[Fe(CN)5]NONa4[Fe(CN)5]NOS(purple colour)

Chromyl chloride test is given by ionic chlorides only. Chloride of Hg+does not respond to chromyl chloride test due to covalent character, which allows to ionise only slightly.

In an aqueous medium, Cu2+ is more stable than Cu+. This is because although energy is required to remove one electron from Cu+ to Cu2+, high hydration energy of Cu2+ compensates for it.

Therefore, Cu+ ion in an aqueous solution is unstable. It disproportionates to give Cu2+ and Cu.

2Cu+Cu+Cu+2

So all statements are correct.

Option D is correct.
