Solution

Step-I Empirical formula :

The simplest whole number ratio of atoms of different elements present in a compound is called an empirical formula.

Step-II

So, Empirical formula of C6H6(Benzene) is CH. Because ratio of carbon atoms to hydrogen atoms in Benzene (C6H6) is 1:1.

Step-III

Empirical formula of Glucose(C6H12O6) is CH2O. Because ratio of carbon atoms to hydrogen atoms to oxygen atoms in C6H12O6 is 1:2:1.

Step-IV

Empirical formula of C2H2(Acetylene) is CH. Because ratio of carbon atoms to hydrogen atoms is 1:1.

Step-V

Empirical formula of CH3COOH(Acetic acid) is CH2O.Because ratio of carbon atoms to hydrogen atoms to oxygen atoms in CH3COOH is 1:2:1.
