For example:

• Phosphoric acid (${\mathrm{H}}_3{\mathrm{PO}}_4$) slows down the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide(${\mathrm{H}}_2{\mathrm{O}}_2$).
• Phosphoric acid acts as a negative catalyst.
