It contains plasma, RBCs, WBC, Platelets, and proteins. It contains plasma, fewer WBCs, and lesser proteins.
It flows with speed and pressure. It flows slowly.
It moves in a circulation. It moves unidirectional.
Lymph is a fluid connective tissue derived from the plasma of the blood that accumulates in the interstitial space. Its functions are as follows:
  1. return the interstitial fluid to the blood
  2. performing immune functions
  3. absorbing fats from the digestive system
