Adrenal gland:

  1. Adrenal glands produce hormones that help in maintaining the immune system, blood pressure and metabolism.
  2. They produce hormones like adrenaline which is known as the stress hormone.
  3. They are also known as suprarenal glands and are present at the top of kidneys.
