Solution
A person from bright sunlight outside enters a poorly lit room and feels blinded for a short while because in the bright sunlight pupils were in a contracted state to limit the passing of light into the eyes but when the person enters in a poorly lit room the eyes need time to adjust and the iris muscles need time to dilate the pupils so that more light can enter the eye. And in that short duration the person feels blinded.
