Step 1: The relation between distance and time

  1. The distance travelled for a moving object is simply the measure of the whole path travelled by the particle.
  2. When the body moves with variable velocity, i.e. the speed or direction of the body changes over the travel.
  3. The relation becomes non-proportional, i.e, the distance travelled is not proportional to the time.
