Krebs's cycle is also referred to as the citric acid cycle.
It was given by Hans Krebs and since citric acid is the first product of the cycle, it is also called the citric acid cycle.
It is a complete series of enzyme-catalyzed reactions which takes place in the matrix of mitochondria.
In Krebs's cycle, oxidation of acetyl-CoA take place where carbon dioxide is formed and reduction of coenzymes occurs via which ATP is generated into the electron transport chain.
