Spindle fibres

  1. During cell division, the mitotic spindle are formed by a network of filaments.
  2. This network of filaments is called spindle fibres.

Aster

  1. A cellular structure formed around each centrosome during mitosis.
  2. It is a bundle of microtubule fibres radiating out from each cell pole during cell division.
