Give the symptoms of Kwashiorkor

Kwashiorkor is a malnutrition disease that is caused by the deficiency of proteins in the diet. It is also called as edematous malnutrition because of accumulation on interstitial fluid called edema. The symptoms of the disease are as follows:
  1. Severe loss in weight, a body wasting process,
  2. Swelling in extremities, infection in the ear,
  3. Bloating in intestine and diarrhea,
  4. Loss of appetite, fatigue
  5. Rashes on the skin,
  6. Damaged immune system.
