Tendons move bones. Muscle fibers are wrapped up in bundles of a tissue called fascia. Those bundles of muscle are warped up in more bundles with fascia. Then those are warped up. Soon, mass of muscle all spindles down into the connective tissue of fascia called a tendon. When your brain moves just a single bundle of muscle you can do micro movements of the bone.

Ligaments connect bone on bone. Between each bone joint of your finger you have ligaments holding those bones together. Ligaments don’t have much of a blood supply to them so when they tear, some of the tears are permanent and can only be fixed through surgery.

Cartilage is a flexible connective tissue found in many parts of the body. It can bend a bit, but resists stretching. Its main function is to connect bones together. It is also found in the joints, the rib cage, the ear, the nose, the throat and between the bones of the back.
They are collectivel called connecting tissues.
