Three features of the model were:
(i) A positively charged sphere forms the centre of the atom. This positively charged sphere holds almost all of the mass of the atom and is called the Nucleus.
(ii) The electrons revolve around the nucleus in well-defined orbits.
(iii) The size of the nucleus is negligible in front of the size of the atom.
