Three features of the model were:

(i) A positively charged sphere forms the centre of the atom. This positively charged sphere holds almost all of the mass of the atom and is called the nucleus.
(ii) The electrons revolve around the nucleus in circular paths.
(iii) The size of the nucleus is negligible as compared to the size of the atom.
