Herbs:

  1. The plants which are usually short and have green, tender stems are known as herbs.
  2. They do not have woody stems and usually have many branches.
  3. Examples of herbs include tomato and tulsi.

Shrubs:

  1. The plants which bear branches near the base (ground) of the stem are known as shrubs.
  2. The stem of shrubs are hard but not very thick and are mostly taller than herbs.
  3. Examples of shrubs are rose and lemon.

Tree:

  1. The plants which have strong, tall and woody stem are known as trees.
  2. Examples of trees are mango and guava.
