(i) Creepers: Creepers spread on the ground. The stems of these plants are very weak and cannot stand upright. For example, water melon, pumpkin, bitter gourd, bougainvillea and cucumber.
(ii) Climbers: Climbers move towards a support such as trees and walls to climb up. For example, betel, money plant, pea, grape vines and beans.
