Abiotic components mean non-living things. The soil, water and air on the surface of the earth constitute the physical components. The climatic factors like sunlight, temperature, rain, humidity, wind, etc. are also abiotic components.

Biotic components constitute the living parts of the environment. It consists of plants and animals which are found on the earth.
