Open in App
Solution

Non-luminous objects:

  1. An object or a particle that does not emit its own light is said to be non-luminous, yet it can still reflect light from other sources.
  2. One example of a non-luminous object is the Moon, which humans can only see because it reflects sunlight (which is a luminous object).

Other examples:

  1. Planets, coal, a piece of fabric, the moon, furniture, shrubs, electric poles, metals, homes, and stones are just a few examples.
