The maximum of the curve occurs at $(- \sqrt{3}, 1), (\sqrt{3}, 1)$ The curve has point of inflection at $(0, 0)$ .The value of y decreases with increase in the magnitude of x in interval $x \in (- \infty, - \sqrt{3}) \cup (\sqrt{3}, \infty)$
