Solution

The female reproductive system consists of a pair of ovaries, a thick walled uterus with rich vasculature in order to sustain and nourish the implanted egg. The uterus opens into the cervix. The cervix separates the uterus and vagina and is divided into supravaginal and vaginal regions. The width decreases as we move down from the uterus to the vagina. The vagina is highly elastic and accommodates the penis during coitus.
