Solution

Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase, Cytokinesis.

Prophase

  1. Mitosis is the process of separating the duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells.
  2. Prophase is the initial phase of mitosis.

Metaphase

1. In the cell cycle, metaphase is when all of the genetic material is condensed into chromosomes.
2. During the metaphase stage, the equatorial or metaphase plate is formed.
3. The plane formed in the middle between the poles of a dividing cell during the metaphase stage of mitosis or meiosis is formed by the movement of chromosomes to the centre of the spindle.

Anaphase

  1. Anaphase is the fourth phase of mitosis.
  2. It is the process by which a parent cell's replicated genetic material is separated into two identical daughter cells from the nucleus.

Telophase

  1. Telophase is the final step of mitosis, when a cell's duplicated genetic material in the nucleus separates into two identical daughter cells.

Cytokinesis

  1. Cytokinesis is the physical process through which a mother cell's cytoplasm is divided into two daughter cells.
  2. In animal cells, it happens at the same time as the two types of nuclear division known as mitosis and meiosis.
