Given below are the lengths of the sides forming the right angles of some triangles. Find out the length of the hypotenuse of each triangle.

Sides forming right angle are 2.1, 2.8
By Pythagoras theorem,
(Hypotenuse)2 = (side one)2 + (side two)2

⇒ (Hypotenuse)2 = (2.1)2 + (2.8)2
⇒ (Hypotenuse)2 = 4.41 + 7.84
⇒ (Hypotenuse)2 = 12.25
⇒ (Hypotenuse)2 = (3.5)2
⇒ Hypotenuse = 3.5
