The correct option is A Statement I is false but statement II is true

In aniline, lone pair of electrons on nitrogen atom is delocalise over benzene ring due to resonance and hence less available to a proton.

Also in acetamide, lone pair of 'N' in amide is in conjugation with carbonyl that is strong electron withdrawing group, so lone pair on N of acetamide is less available compare to aniline. Hence, aniline is more basic than acetamide.

Hence, option (a) is correct.
