Implantation:

  1. A fertilized egg is also known as zygote. In blastocyst stage it attaches to the uterine wall(endometrium).This process is called as implantation.

Parturition:

  1. It is the child birth process in which the baby and placenta comes out from the uterus to vagina.

Ovulation:

  1. It is the process of releasing a mature egg from the ovary.
  2. After the release, egg moves into the fallopian tube and stays there for about 24 hours where it can get fertilized.

Gestation:

  1. Gestation refers to the time period in which a female is pregnant and the process of gestation starts from the last menstrual period of a female.
  2. It is the period of development during the carrying of an embryo. It is the time between conception and birth during which embryo develops in the uterus.
  3. The normal gestation period of developing human embryo is around 280 days/9 months.

Fertilization :

  1. It is the process of fusion of male and female gamete. In this process sperm nucleus fuses with the ovum nucleus to form a zygote.
  2. This process takes place in the fallopian tube of the female body.

Hence the logical sequence is Ovulation, Fertilization, Implantation, Gestation, Parturition.
