Phagocytes are cells that protect the body by ingesting harmful foreign particles, thereby involving in the process of phagocytosis. They are essential for fighting infections and for subsequent immunity. There are many phagocytes such as neutrophils, monocytes, macrophages, mast cells and dendritic cells.
Urine formed in the kidney is carried to the urinary bladder by the ureter. Neurotransmitter helps in the conduction of nerve from one neuron to another neuron through a synapse.
Iris is the coloured part of the eye that controls the amount of light entering the eye by adjusting the size of the pupil.
Placenta connects mother to foetus. It allows the exchange of nutrients and gases between the mother and the developing fetus through blood.
