Given below is the excretory system in humans. Identify the labelled parts.
In a human excretory system, wastes are filtered out of the blood by kidneys. Useful substances are absorbed back into blood and wastes dissolved in water are removed as urine. The urine goes from kidneys to the urinary bladder. Finally, the waste is released out as urine via an opening at the end of a muscular tube, called urethra. The pair of kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder and urethra together constitute the excretory system in humans. A normal human adult passes around 1 -1.8 liters of urine in a day.
