Islets of Lengerhans

As an endocrine/ductless gland, the pancreas (part C) has special groups of hormone-secreting cells called the Islets of Langerhans.

Islets of Langerhans contain three different kinds of cells called beta, alpha, and delta cells that secrete insulin, glucagon, and somatostatin, respectively.
