Solution

Since, $f = 10, => u = 3 f = 30$
Substituting the given values in the given equation, we get
$\frac{1}{10} = \frac{1}{v} + \frac{1}{30}$
$=> \frac{1}{v} = \frac{1}{10} - \frac{1}{30}$
$=> \frac{1}{v} = \frac{3 - 1}{30} = \frac{2}{30} = \frac{1}{15}$
$=> v = 15$
