ii) The leaf to be tested should have a portion of itself covered on both sides with black paper strips. This is done to ensure that starch is not formed in that portion due to photosynthesis.
v)Then the plant is exposed to sunlight for occurrence of photosynthesis in the whpole leaf except for the covered part.
i) Then the leaf to be experimented is plucked.
