$\text{Breadth of the block (b)}=28cm$

$\text{Thickness (h)}=5cm$

$\text{and total weight of the block}=112kg$

$\therefore Volume=\frac{112}{0.25}=\frac{112\times 100}{25}=448c{m}^3$

$\therefore Length=\frac{Volume}{b\times h}=\frac{448}{28\times 5}$

$=\frac{16}{5}=3.2cm$
