Let l be the length of the block

Given,

height of $1c{m}^3$ of marble = 0.25kg

height of marble block which is

25cm in width and 5 cm thick = 112kg

$\Rightarrow l\times 28\times 5\times 0.25=112$

$\Rightarrow l=\frac{112}{28\times 5\times 0.25}$

$\Rightarrow l=3.2cm$
