Given that, xz=y2
Also 100.48=x,100.70=y
Taking log on both sides with the given equation, we get, ------(log with respect to base 10)
log(x)z=log(y)2
Applying property log(a)b=b.log(a),we get
zlog(x)=2log(y)
z=2log(y)log(x)
=2log(100.7)log(100.48)
=2×0.70.48=2.91666
