The correct option is C $5$
$3 p + 2 q = 13$ and $3 p - 2 q = 5$
Adding the above two equation we get
$3 p + 2 q + 3 p - 2 q = 13 + 5$
$6 p = 18$
$p = 3$
putting p values in any one equation
$3 \times 3 + 2 q = 13$
$q = 2$
$p + q = 5$
