4x3y=6 ........... (i)
x3y=3 ........... (ii)
Multiply (ii) by 4, we get
x×43y×4=3×4
4x12y=12 ........... (iii)
Subtract (iii) with (i), we get
(4x3y)(4x12y)=6(12)
4x3y4x+12y=6+12
3y+12y=18
9y=18
y=189=2
