Solution

The correct option is A 2 > 3 > 1 > 5 > 4
The electrophilic substitution reaction is reactions in which an electrophile displaces a functional group. Electron donating groups with the maximum electrons present that can be donated are 'alkoxy>alkyl>benzene', where benzene has the delocalised set of electrons which attracts electrophile. Nitro group has a lone pair of electrons but that is counterattacked by its electron withdrawing effect produced on a ring so it repels electrophile and the least reactive to this reaction is halogen group which are highly electron withdrawing group. so alkoxy>alkyl>benzene>nitro>bromo, chloro towards electrophilic substitution reaction.
