Solution

Let the number of balls with Glenn = xLet the number of balls with Jason = yNow, according to first condition,When Jason gives 4 balls to Glenn, then both of them have equal balls x + 4 = y - 4x - y = -8 .......1When Glenn gives 4 balls to Jason, then number of balls with Jason becomes 3 times of Glenn.Now, y + 4 = 3x - 4-3x + y = -16 ........2adding 1 and 2, we get-2x = -24x = 12Now, from 1, we get y = 20So, number of balls with Glenn = 12Number of balls with Jason = 20
