Solution

The correct option is A True
Agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy. The Globalisation has brought free trade and economic opportunities. Multinational companies have established to carry out business and earning profit thereby producing employment as well. The globalization has given less importance to agriculture, non-agricultural sector filled with employment opportunities, many small farmers and labourers shifted to manufacturing and service sectors. Farmers started growing cash crops which require more inputs to meet the demand of corporation. The government is disinvesting in agriculture which allows private companies to take over to the agriculture and they are bringing the trend of feudalism causing discouragement of farmers.
