Globalisation has led to worsening of the working conditions of workers in the developing western countries. ​ Due to the entry of MNC's many small scale industries have faced severe loss rendering workers unemployed. Further, there is no protection given by the MNC's to the workers. They are employed on contractual basis and removed from service at any time.
