Distal convoluted tubule is mitochondria rich part of nephron, lacks microvilli and is involved in moving molecules from blood into tubules i.e., tubular secretion of $K^{+}$ and $H^{+}$ and uncontrolled reabsorption of $N{a}^{+}$ and water.

Collecting duct serve to collect urine from several distal convoluted tubules and pass it to renal pelvis. Loop of Henle is the “U” shaped region of nephron and serves to establish osmotic gradient in renal medulla.
