II. Constipation or difficult defecation is characterised by decreased motility of intestine and an irregular movement of bowl. It is caused due to poor food habits, fibreless diet, emotional stress and certain drugs.

III. Constipation can be treated by mild laxatives like milk of magnesia, which induce defecation.

IV. Ejection of stomach content through oesophagus, pharynx and out of the mouth is controlled by vomit centre in medulla oblongata of hindbrain.
