Go to a nearby pond observe organisms living in the pond and bio degradable substances mixing in water. How they effect on those organisms? Write your observation.

Pond is usually smaller than a lake and contain variety of plant and animal life. Some can be seen by naked eye, others can be seen only using microscope.

Organisms found in pond water are bacteria, protozoa, hydra, algae, etc. These can be observed using microscope.

Students may be able to identify animal organisms under microscope but student may not be able to differentiate protists, which belong to plant kingdom.
