Solution

The correct option is B Anterior pituitary
Vasopressin and oxytocin are produced by hypothalamus but stored and released into bloodstream via posterior pituitary. Posterior pituitary gland does not secrete any hormone. Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is one of the gonadotropins secrete by anterior pituitary; FSH promotes spermatogenesis in seminiferous tubules of male and follicle development in females. Leutinizing hormone is another gonadotropin secreted by the anterior pituitary. Gonads (testes and ovaries) secrete androgens and estrogen and progesterone respectively. Thus, the correct answer is option C.
