0+Y = Y
Any number added with 0 (zero) , the solution will be the same number .
So her 0 is added with Y gives Y as solution.
(ii)
1/2ax + 1/2ax
Here since denominator are same add the the numerator .
So 1/2ax + 1/2ax = 2 / 2ax
= 1/ax
* Also note that if denominators are not same cross multiply the numbers .
